SF Golden Gate Park

You can wander through one of the most iconic urban parks on the West Coast, with everything from meadows and gardens to museums and lakes spread across over 1,000 acres. Golden Gate Park is basically a whole world unto itself, so whether you want to chill on the grass, explore the botanical gardens, or just take a walk without a plan, there's plenty to do. The park is free to roam anytime, though some of the museums and attractions inside do charge admission.
