San Francisco Buena Vista Park

Buena Vista Park is San Francisco's oldest park, sitting right in the center of the city with winding trails through one of the few remaining oak groves in the area. You'll get those views it's named for from the upper slopes, plus a chance to spot wildlife like squirrels, birds, and other creatures that thrive in the oak woodland — and if you're curious about history, you might even spot fragments of old marble headstones lining the trails from when the park was part of the cemetery removal project back in the early 1900s.
