Pioneer Plaza

You can walk through a sprawling downtown plaza with massive bronze sculptures of cowboys driving a herd of longhorn cattle—it's basically a frozen moment of Old West history right in the middle of Dallas. The 4.2-acre space has native plants, trees, and a natural stream running through it, making it feel weirdly peaceful despite being surrounded by the convention center and downtown buildings.
