Pease District Park

Pease Park is Austin's 84-acre first public park with limestone bluffs, shaded trails, and a ton of history woven into the landscape—you can spend your time playing around at the southern end or hiking deeper into nature as you head north. The Pease Park Conservancy keeps this spot maintained and regularly hosts events throughout the year, so it's worth checking back if you want to catch something like their Squirrel Fest or learn about the park's rich cultural past.
