Muir Woods Forest

Walk among massive old-growth coast redwoods at this National Monument just outside the city, where you can wander quiet trails along Redwood Creek and soak in some seriously peaceful forest vibes. It's been protected since 1908 and feels like stepping into another world—great for a low-key hike or just wandering around if you want to clear your head.
