Harold Simmons Park

Harold Simmons Park is Dallas's ambitious new 200-acre green space along the Trinity River that's set to become the city's outdoor hub, with everything from playgrounds and water features to event spaces and a totally unique cable ferry. The West Overlook section is breaking ground in spring 2025 and will have a massive event lawn, skate park, bike trails, and picnic areas that'll give you plenty of reasons to get outside. It's free to visit and designed as a gathering spot where nature and community actually come together.
