Coyote Ridge Trail

Coyote Ridge Trail is a short, scenic hike in the Marin Headlands that connects you to some killer ridge-line views—the 0.8-mile route climbs up to around 1,000 feet elevation and then mellows out into a gradual descent with some pretty spectacular vistas. It's a solid intermediate hike that works well for families, and you'll find yourself basically eye-level with buzzards soaring overhead once you hit the ridge.
